Welcome to WWW Wednesday! I got caught up in parenting and wasn’t able to finish my next post in time to get it up today, so thankfully I can use this to get a little fresh content going.

This meme was formerly hosted by MizB at A Daily Rhythm and revived on Taking on a World of Words — and shown to me by Aurore-Anne-Chehoke at Diary-of-a-black-city-girl.

The Three Ws are:

What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?

Easy enough, right?

What are you currently reading?

I’m reading Twenty-one Truths About Love by Matthew Dicks, and am listening to Skinwalker by Faith Hunter, Khristine Hvam (Narrator).

What did you recently finish reading?

I just finished Lee Child’s Blue Moon, Friends: A Cultural History by Jennifer C. Dunn and Zombie Spaceship Wasteland by Patton Oswalt on audio.

What do you think you’ll read next?

My next book should be be Duncan Macmaster’s Hacked. But I’ve been saying that at least once a week for a month, so we’ll see. I think my next audiobook will be The Martian by Andy Weir, R. C. Bray (Narrator)

Hit me with your Three W’s in the comments! (no, really, do it!)

  1. I’m currently reading Furies of Calderon by Jim Butcher. It’s been my work read and I started it way back in October I think 🙂 I think I’m on track to finish it this month or in January.

    • Is this your first time with Calderon? I remember you not being a fan of Dresden

      • You are correct that I am not a fan of Dresden. Almost made me abandon Butcher as an author.

Alera, however, is one of my favorite series. I think this is my 3rd read of Furies and my full second reading of the series.

I had high hopes for his Cinderspire series, but that seems to have stalled out 🙁
I guess that Dresden and my dislike of it was more about the genre (urban fantasy) and all the necessary tropes of it than Butcher’s actual ability.
