The Three Ws are:
What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?
Easy enough, right?
What are you currently reading?
Today I started the audiobook of Side Jobs by Jim Butcher and James Marsters (Narrator) and I’m a little over half finished with Taffy Brodesser-Akner’s Fleishman Is in Trouble.
What did you recently finish reading?
Yesterday I finished Open Season by C. J. Box, David Chandler (Narrator) on audio and Monday I finished Because Internet: Understanding the New Rules of Language by Gretchen McCulloch.
What do you think you’ll read next?
My next book will be the eARC of Shattered Bonds by Faith Hunter—I’ve been wanting to dive into this for weeks, but my Book Tour stop is next week, and I would’ve had a hard time putting off talking about it after I read it.
Hit me with your Three W’s in the comments! (no, really, do it!)

I’m currently reading The Last Plainsman by Zane Grey. It’ll the last Grey I read.
After that I have to decide if I want to keep with my reading rotation or go with the Burning White, by Brent Weeks, which just came out and I received in the mail 😀 But at almost 1300 pages in the ebook version, it’ll be a major commitment. I’m not sure I’m ready for that just yet 😉
Bookstooge
ps,
I highly applaud your foray into limited comment modding 😀 😀 😀
Honestly though, I really hope it works for you and that you don’t get deluged by spam…
HCNewton
You convinced me!
Workin’ alright so far.
Bookstooge
I am glad to hear that. Of course, it won’t solve any issues on its own, but I hope it helps.
HCNewton
Ack! I thought I replied already.
So…how is it going into the last Zane Grey? Bittersweet? A relief? A sense of accomplishment? (there’s a long list of books by him)
I keep meaning to dip my toe into Weeks’ work, but it brings out the commitment-a-phobe in me.
Bookstooge
Grey didn’t work out. He wasn’t a good fit for the Bookstooge Crew and so we booted him 😉
Weeks does have his Night Angel trilogy. so just a trilogy. It’s a bit rougher, as it is his debut work, but I enjoyed it as a slightly darker fantasy than I am used to.
HCNewton
Gotcha. Guess I was thrown by the phrasing — I remember seeing a lot of L’Amour on your site, but not Grey, now that I think about it. (I’ve honestly always conflated the two)
Bookstooge
I read a lot of L’Amour and finished a series by him and wanted to try another Western Author. So I got an omnibus off of Amazon for $2. Two books were enough for me to know that Grey wasn’t going to cut it. I’ve got a review of the Plainsmen coming mid to late November.
