Hey, it’s the middle of the week, so I’m told–I’m having trouble keeping track of the day anymore. Theoretically, it’s time for WWW Wednesday!
This meme was formerly hosted by MizB at A Daily Rhythm and revived on Taking on a World of Words—and shown to me by Aurore-Anne-Chehoke at Diary-of-a-black-city-girl.
The Three Ws are:
What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?
Easy enough, right?
What are you currently reading?
I’m reading The Poop Diaries by Abby Ross, Cheater’s Game by Paul Levine and am listening to Caliban’s War by James S. A. Corey, Jefferson Mays (Narrator).
What did you recently finish reading?
I just finished Chris Whitaker’s We Begin at the End and Heartless by Gail Carriger, Emily Gray (Narrator) on audio.
What do you think you’ll read next?
My next book should be Fake Truth by Lee Goldberg and An Unwelcome Quest by Scott Meyer, Luke Daniels (Narrator) on audiobook.
Hit me with your Three W’s in the comments! (no, really, do it!)

I’m reading “News of the World” by Pauline Jiles, because it is a comfort book that I picked up from the library 25 cent book cart and fell in love with.
I just finished reading “Celtic Myths and Legends” by Eoin Neeson (there must be at least a half dozen Amazon listings with the same title). Neeson cherry picks the best of Irish myths – a great intro to that world.
I plan next to read “Team of Rivals” about Lincoln’s political maneuverings during the Civil War, because several people whom I respect have said it’s a great read, and I inherited a copy.
HCNewton
I’ve heard nothing but good about Team of Rivals (pretty sure I heard Goodwin talk a little about it years ago, too). Almost a guaranteed good one.
Irish myths w/o the Urban Fantasy twist? Should look into that.

Always been curious of James S.A. Corey’s books. Happy reading, sir!

They’re immersive, addictive, and compelling–but man…maybe being cooped up inside the house isn’t the best environment to read/listen to a book about people confined to small spaces dealing with forces beyond their control.
