I read that 500+ paragraph. It just goes to show the writers real colors. He can’t imagine that someone could own and read that many books, so he casually dismisses them. Actually, he doesn’t dismiss them, he denies them. What a pathetic little man he must be where even in his imagination he can’t think of someone having read 500 books. Glad I don’t live in his world.
