In the spirit of “a rising tide lifts all boats,” this year for Self-Published Authors Appreciation Week I wanted to give some Self-Published authors a chance to spread some love (while also indulging in a bit of self-promotion, I mean, c’mon, it’s hard out here…)
An Elevator Pitch for Something You Love
The Genesis of Change by Livia J. Elliot
I’d like to shine a light on Livia J. Elliot’s novella: The Genesis of Change; a breathtaking work that paints its setting in your mind with permanent ink. Elliot’s intellect is awe inspiring and her writing here is a force to be reckoned with. I’m blown away by her ability to weave abstract concepts into vivid mental imagery. The resulting atmosphere of the world she’s created feels fresh and energizing. It’s an experience—and not one to be missed.
My Elevator Pitch by Karl Forshaw
Renia is a book about a missing book. It takes place in an academic stronghold, in a world where the moon fell from the sky and caused somewhat of a mess. Under the surface, it’s a multi-pov story that explores themes of guilt, and shame. It’s a book about living with consequences, and overcoming the choke-hold they can have on you.
About this Author
I’m Karl Forshaw, author of Renia which is book one of what might end up being a nine part series named Luna Ruinam. With the rest of my time I write code, enjoy music, play guitar, walk my dog. The usual stuff.
Be sure to check out Renia and The Genesis of Change, let’s show them both some love!
