Time for WWW Wednesday!

This meme was formerly hosted by MizB at A Daily Rhythm and revived on Taking on a World of Words—and shown to me by Aurore-Anne-Chehoke at Diary-of-a-black-city-girl.

The Three Ws are:

What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?

Easy enough, right?

What are you currently reading?

I’m reading The Sentinel by Lee Child and Andrew Child and am wrapping up my time in the Codex Alera audiobooks with First Lord’s Fury by Jim Butcher, Kate Reading (Narrator)—interestingly enough (at least to me), it was 10 years ago this week that I finished reading it for the first time. Odd coincidence if nothing else.

What did you recently finish reading?

I just finished B. B. Alston’s Amari and the Night Brothers and Free Fire by C.J. Box, David Chandler (Narrator) on audio.

What do you think you’ll read next?

My next book should be Cooking for Cannibals by Rich Leder and Is this Anything? by Jerry Seinfeld on audiobook.

Hit me with your Three W’s in the comments! (no, really, do it!)

  1. I read some comments on the weekend that though Andrew Child is good at plotting, his prose doesn’t have the same edge as Lee Child.

I’m currently reading Every Man For Himself by Beryl Bainbridge – a novel about the Titanic. It was shortlisted for the Booker Prize but I’m struggling to be enthused by it.

I can see that (and vaguely remember that from the Grant, er Andrew Child, books I read years ago).

Hope the Bainbridge gets better, would’ve thought it worthy of enthusiasm.
