Something’s come up and I could use the coverage here on The Irresponsible Reader, so I’d invite anyone who wanted to to contribute. Or to contribute a second list (their 2nd 5, a reconsidered 5…whatever).

SHucks I at first thought you meant “Top 5 Books set on a Desert Island” and was all sets to chip in with Jules Verne’s “Mysterious Island” and duBois’s “21 Baloons”. And then you would have to have “Robinson Crusoe” and “Treasure Island”, too. Can you come up with a 5th?

LOL…pretty sure The Boxcar Children had one, ditto for the 3 Investigators. Gideon Defoe’s The Pirates!, too.
