The Silver Arrow by Lev Grossman

“Kate. Tom. Good to see you. You made it this far.”

“Uncle Herbert!”

“Uncle Herbert!” Tom said. “We went through the woods and didn’t crash and then we saw a station and it was full of animals and they talked and then the train talked!”

Tom said this as one long continuous word. Uncle Herbert didn’t look particularly surprised at any of it.

  1. Sounds delightful!! Happy weekend!

  2. Is this the author that wrote that execrable “Magicians” trilogy because he wanted to pejorative all over Lewis and Narnia?

If I edit the question to, “Is this the author that wrote that…”Magicians” trilogy…?” I can say yes. But if you insist on the rest of the words…

  3. Literary Feline

I haven’t read his Magicians trilogy yet, but the first book is on my TBR shelf. This sounds like a good one. I wonder if my daughter would enjoy it too. Have a great week!

I tried to get my post about the book up today, but other responsibilities got in the way. Maybe check back tomorrow (but short answer: depending on your daughter’s age, I’m betting she would)

Read Irresponsibly, but please Comment Responsibly
